Originally from Columbus Ohio, Bryan began his journey as a typical Midwest kid with well-rounded interests ranging from art, music, engineering, and sports. But it was the sport of Tennis that would open up most of the doors for him in life. He was a four year letter winner at top D1 program SMU in Dallas, TX, and Spent a few years on tour after sponsored by adidas and Head/Penn. During this time he would DJ for his teammates and college friends as a way to stay in the social scene while his main focus was on high-performance sport. After transitioning from the court to the corporate realm, Bryan moved to New York City to work in sales and marketing for adidas- a nice transition for a former athlete “sports to a sports brand.” It was here that he uncovered his passion for photography and brand storytelling, leveraging social media and grassroots marketing to create compelling brand stories. While his day job evolved with stints at Kenneth Cole, and Wilhelmina models. After hours, he continued to document the NYC brand activation scene. Through his content game and personal branding, he made a name for himself as one of the top men’s lifestyle creatives in NYC, frequently collaborating with top brands. His ability to integrate branded experiences with authentic social connection would become his calling card. With an impressive Instagram following of over 120k, Bryan has collaborated with major brands such as the NBA, Budweiser, Heineken and Christian Louboutin, Intercontinental Hotels, Ford, GQ, Vogue, Lincoln, TUMI, and numerous spirits brands. As the strategy was just emerging, Bryan was at the forefront of video content of experiential events, this approach really fueled his growth and honed his storytelling ability.
Oddly enough it was a string of misfortune that led him back to his passion’s in music. When global lockdowns hit in 2020 with live events in purgatory. Bryan returned to a passion he had that began at the piano in his childhood home and at the radio station his mother worked at where he used to do homework at after school. He got back to Spinning that spring, and after one fortuitous rainy weekend house party, his phone began to ring for DJ gigs. Fast forward 5 years and he has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most sought after DJ’s of the Hamptons with residencies at East Hampton Hotspot Si Si and Montauk’s iconic Gurneys Resort. In the city he’s played Hearsay, Public hotel rooftop, Jolene sound room and more. His style is elevated with global influences. Nu-Disco, Deep house, with dives into Afro beats and Latin tech are the backbone of his style, however he loves to mix in mainstream classics, and remixes of current hits. He’s also emerging as a powerhouse producer with 10 Single releases and a few charting remixes on Hype-edit tech house charts. In Sept He released his Debut album “CHASING” inspired by his home East Hampton, NY, moody and escapist sunset vibes with deep house and afro house influences. He’s currently on pace to do 1 Million in Streams on Spotify self- distributed, and self-marketed. He continues to be a mainstay in the Fashion and Brand activation landscape as well. Expect a fun and engaging night with GR1FN on the decks and a lot of new music in 2025. He’s definitely one to watch.
